In February 2009, Hydromax Energy hosted an open house to discuss the Phantom Lake Hydro Project with the local community and respond to questions. A number of attendees expressed an interest in having the opportunity to comment on Hydromax Energy’s environmental studies in a formal process similar to the BC Environmental Assessment Office’s process for projects over 50 MW. While a formal regulatory process does exist for projects less than 50 MW, there is no requirement to publicly post the project development plan and environmental assessment. Based on feedback at the February open house, Hydromax Energy has created a process for review of the Phantom Lake Hydro Project to ensure that the issues and concerns of the public, First Nations, interested stakeholders and government agencies are addressed and available below.
Pre-Application
Application (Development Plan)
